At IVT we care about healthy living. We take pride in supporting and sponsoring many activities that are intentionally encouraging a healthy lifestyle. This month we are sponsoring the 4th Annual North Carolina Middle School Basketball Showcase. In our effort to promote better health in individual students, we are also providing each participant with a set of exercise bands to promote strength training and injury prevention. This showcase is organized by the non-profit F.O.O.T.P.R.I.N.T.S. Inc.
Their mission is to promote and facilitate individual development through sport and fitness related activities. They do this through training, mentoring and educating student-athletes.
NCMSS has two goals. First, to provide a platform for North Carolina middle school athletic teams to compete against other regionally based schools. Second, create a competitive environment which promotes fair play, health & wellness, exposure, and social development. We are proud to be able to be a sponsor for this program!
