This year IVT supported Team Pinkie in their efforts to fundraise for the National MS Society through Bike MS. Our in-kind support centered around providing a new look for the team. Working with the team we created a new logo, bike jerseys, a banner, stickers and magnets to help them get their message out and drive more fundraising. For 2019, Team Pinkie (aka Pinkie Says Keep S’Myelin) was the #4 fundraising team, with a total of $66,041! IVT will continue to support this team to help them get more sponsors and raise even more money to move towards a world free of MS.
Multiple sclerosis (MS) is an unpredictable, often disabling, disease of the central nervous system that interrupts the flow of information within the brain, and between the brain and body. Millions of people are affected by MS and the challenges of living with its unpredictable symptoms, which range from numbness and tingling to blindness and paralysis. The progress, severity and specific symptoms of MS in any one person cannot yet be predicted, but advances in research and treatment are moving us closer to a world free of MS.
